Pilates has something to offer all levels of fitness and abilities.

At L1 we tailor all of our Pilates classes to the individuals participating, so whether you’re a newbie or a regular, we have something for everyone.

LOOKING FOR 1-2-1 PILATES?

Pilates is a minimal impact exercise that is easy on your joints and can be adapted to suit your individual requirements.

There are many health benefits to Pilates, the best known being the core strengthening and improvement in posture which has a positive impact on flexibility and mobility.

Pilates places focus on your breathing, how your body reacts with each breath and the fluidity of your movements. Pilates naturally alleviates stress and tension and researchers have found that Pilates can even boost brain power!

BOOK YOUR GROUP PILATES CLASS

At L1 Performance, we offer Pilates classes in small groups of up to eight people. Ria, our instructor, has been practicing Pilates for over ten years and has a wealth of experience in working with people of all abilities and ages.

Our group Pilates classes are great fun and will leave you feeling energised and looking forward to the next session!

L1 offers a relaxing and supportive environment with premium facilities for changing and showering.

L1 adopts an inclusive approach and we welcome first time visitors, who may be at the start of their health and fitness journey, with the same respect as we pay to the professional athletes who use our facilities.

All you need to bring is your basic kit; top and bottoms.

We will provide the rest for you; towels toiletries and of course mats!

We advise that you come to L1 five minutes before the sessions starts, so you have time to prepare and get the most out of your class!

You’ll be greeted upon arrival at the reception desk and we will show you where the changing facilities are and where the yoga & Pilates studio is.

Ria is originally from Leeds and has over 10 year experience teaching and practicing Pilates, and believes strongly in the mind-body benefits that come with this practice.
