After taking the US by storm, Barre has made its way to Wellington Place as the latest fun-filled fitness activity on offer at L1 Performance.

As the perfect pairing of Pilates and Ballet, Barre provides a full body workout with fast paced, challenging combinations to sculpt, strengthen, tone and lift.

Using weights and resistance bands, this class will have you burning whilst pulsing, tucking, dropping and squeezing those muscles! The low impact nature of our method, and our expert teachers, means that we have clients of all ages and fitness levels.

BOOK YOUR GROUP BARRE CLASS

Our classes cater for all levels of abilities, so if you have never tried Barre before, you won’t be left behind.

Our small group classes for groups of up to 12, can be booked in advance through our online booking system.

L1 offers a relaxing and supportive environment with premium facilities for changing and showering.

L1 adopts an inclusive approach and we welcome first time visitors, who may be at the start of their health and fitness journey, with the same respect as we pay to the professional athletes who use our facilities.

All you need to bring is your basic kit; top and bottoms.

We will provide the rest for you; towels toiletries and of course barre equipment!

We advise that you come to L1 at least five minutes before the sessions starts, so you have time to prepare and get the most out of your session time!

You’ll be greeted upon arrival at the reception desk and we will show you where the changing facilities are and where the barre studio is.

Charlotte

Upon graduating from The Northern School of Contemporary Dance with a 1st, Charlotte then delved into a career as a Personal Trainer due to her ongoing passion for health and fitness.

Tash

As a 1st class honours degree graduate from the prestigious Northern school of contemporary dance, Natasha has gained qualifications in Personal training and Pilates. Natasha used her extensive knowledge from her vocational training of contemporary and ballet, fused with personal training, Pilates and yoga to be one of the co-founders of the L1 Performance Barre classes.

Steph

With a background studying nutrition, she has a passion for health and fitness and loves seeing clients flourish through healthy eating and exercise. With an emphasis on developing long lean muscles, a sculpted core and poised posture. She is sweet natured but tough and will help you achieve your Pilates goals.
